Founded in 1976 the Duvall Historical Society works to preserve the heritage of Duvall and the surrounding region. It publishes books on this subject and sponsors regular
programs open to the general public.
The Society meets at the Dougherty House on the first Monday of each month at 7:30 p.m., September through June. The Dougherty
House is located at 26526 Cherry Valley Road.
The Historical Society also opens the Dougherty House for public viewing, now listed on the National Register of Historic
Places, each Sunday, May through September from 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.
