2. Can I use a credit card for payments?
Yes. There are a few different options for credit card payment options:
You can click HERE to view your City of Duvall utility account as well as pay with your Visa or Mastercard.

Official Payments accepts credit card payments for the City of Duvall. Official Payments accepts credit card payments for the following: Arts Program, Business License, Developer Billing, Miscellaneous fee, Permit fees, Utility Bills.

You can pay online by going to their website or call them at 1-800-272-9829. You will need Duvall's Jurisdiction code, which is 5628 and your account number with the City of Duvall.

NOTE: Official Payments accepts American Express, Mastercard, Discover and Visa. They may charge you a convenience fee for the transaction. City of Duvall does not receive any portion of this fee.

You may also use your Visa and Mastercard at City Hall to pay your utility bill. There is no additional charge.

3. Is a Business License required to conduct business in the City of Duvall?
Is it required if I run a business out of my home and I live in the city limits of Duvall?

Yes to both questions. The City of Duvall partners with the State of Washington for business licenses. That means that you can apply for the City license at the same time as you apply for your state license. It also means that if you already have a state license, you can just contact them to add the City of Duvall endorsement to your license.

The cost for the City of Duvall endorsement is $55.00 per calendar year. The state will automatically send you annual renewal notices once you get a license through them. Applications may be picked up at City Hall or you can contact the State of Washington directly at 360-664-1400 or the fastest and easiest way is to click here to apply online.

4. Are garbage and recycling pick up mandatory in the City of Duvall?
Yes. In accordance with Ordinance 643, regulation of the disposal of solid waste and recycling is necessary to promote the public health, safety and the welfare of the citizens of Duvall. Yard waste recycling is optional. For more information, go to Sno-King Waste Managements website (link at top of this page).

5. Is there fluoride in our water?
Yes. City of Duvall receives water from City of Seattle. Go to Seattle Public Utilities website to get more details and view their Water Quality Analysis reports.

6. Whom do I contact regarding road closures and flood levels?
You can view current road closures and flood information on the web by viewing on of the websites listed on our Helpful Links page.

7. When are City Council and Planning Commission Meetings held?
The City Council meets the 2nd and 4th Thursday of every month at 7:00 p.m. in the meeting room of the Duvall Fire Station, 15600 - 1st Avenue NE.

Planning Commission meets the 1st and 3rd Thursday of every month at 7:00 p.m. in the Rose Room at the Duvall Library, 15619 Main Street NE.

8. Does Duvall have Little League or Soccer organizations?
Yes. There is a Little League and Soccer Association that serve the Duvall Community. Please go to the Helpful Links page to find links to their websites.

9. How early in the morning can construction begin? Does Duvall have a noise ordinance?
Construction sound is permitted between 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Monday through Saturday. Construction sounds on Sundays and holidays shall not be permitted at any time.

Sound originating from temporary or periodic maintenance or repair of residential property created by powered or hand-operated equipment is permitted between 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. on weekdays and 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. on weekends.

10. Where are the polling places for voting in Duvall?
If you live in the city limits of Duvall, you will vote at the Duvall Church, 15520 Main Street NE, in downtown Duvall.

11. Where do I register to vote?
Forms are available at Duvall City Hall, 15535 Main Street NE, for registering to vote, name or address changes and absentee voting. After completion, you will mail your form to Olympia for processing.

The last day for mail-in voter registration to be postmarked is March 24th and the last day for in-person voter registration at the Elections Office is April 9th.

12. What legislative district are we in? Who is my Congressman? Who are my Representatives?
Duvall is in King County District 3.
